Today was our 100th day of school celebration! Whew… I am one tired teacher. I never sat down a minute until the end of the day. We were super busy. Here are a few things we did…
Most of the things pictured here can be found in my 100th Day of School Unit.
………………
You can also see last year’s 100th day post below.
………………
The first thing I wanted to share is this new precious book! Love, love love it!
Let’s Count to 100 by Masayuki Sebe
………………
We cut 100 fish and put into a huge fishbowl.
The fish patterns are included in my 100th day Unit.
………………
Read the room cards with number. Counting to 100 by 5’s.
These cards and recording sheet are also in my 100th Day Unit.
………………
Count each color stars and write how many.
Also included in my 100th Day Unit.
………………
All week we are using these counting sheets.
They are in the 100th Day Unit too.
We made 100 tally marks using popsicle sticks.
One little boy said, “Somebody had to eat a whole lot of popsicles to save this many sticks.” Then I broke his heart when I told him he you can buy popsicle sticks at Walmart! HA!
………………
I put these 4 posters up for about 20 seconds and told my students to write the number poster they thought had 100 shapes on it. These are in my 100th Day Unit.
………………
These 100 books are also in my 100th Day Unit. I have used them before with stickers and markers. I was going to ask my students each to bring in a pack of stickers- but I decided to skip that this year.
Drawing 10 groups of easy pictures is a great and easy idea too!
………………
These are some of our class “ziplock bag” projects. The cute oval tags are from Erica Bohrer.
………………
And we enjoyed a little sweet treat today too!
………………
Come back tomorrow for part 2 of our 100th day celebration!
