This directed drawing unit is one of my VERY, VERY favorites! I absolutely love doing directed drawing activities with my students. These are great to squeeze in as time fillers. I can stretch one of these for a whole week.

If you have been reading my blog lately.. you know I am a big believer in directed drawings.
They teach great skills like following directions, listening, and directional words {above, below, etc..} and shapes. I do directed drawings with my first graders all year.
I have just finished a Springtime Directed Drawing Pack- it features a ladybug, caterpillar, flowers, butterfly, bumble bee, and a frog.

I have a new set of Spring Math Centers in my store.
Here is a look at what is included:
Number Order OR picking the least & greatest number.
This center can be used 2 ways. Students can put the numbers on each card in numerical order or they can pick the least & greatest number from each card. Recording sheets are included for both ways. There are 16 cards and 2 recording sheets. Numbers range from 1-120.
Money Find & Count:
Students look at the “coin page” and record how many of each coin and the value. Additional questions to answer about the coins are included on the recording sheet.
Two Digit Addition: This center includes 12 cards and a recording sheet.
Students write the math facts and the answer for each card. No regrouping!
Counting by 5’s.
Numbers range from 5-200. Two recording sheets are included. The first one is for numbers up to 100. The second one is for numbers up to 200.
The cards fit perfect in a pocket chart.
Greater Than / Less Than: Students look at each card and decide which sign goes between the numbers (< or >).
This center includes 20 cards and a recording sheet.
Math Facts: These are “big math facts” that include addition and subtraction mixed together in a single fact. (For example: 4+5-2-1= _). Eight cards and a recording sheet are included.

Here is what is included:
Four Digit Number Words with Number Cards
There are 10 number words cards and plenty of number cards to make the number.
A recording sheet is also available. Students write the four digit number in the correct box.
Compound Word Match
Students match the two little words to make a compound word.
There are 18 compound words in this center.
A recording sheet is available too.
Grammar Sentences
Students read the sentences and decide which ending punctuation it needs. There are 15 sentences in all. Header cards are also included.
And, a recording sheet is also in the pack.
Counting by 2’s Fill in the missing number
This center has 18 fill in the missing number cards. The numbers range from 2-200.
A recording sheet is included.
Math Fact Sort- Addition and Subtraction
This activity has 24 math facts and 4 header cards. Students sort the addition and subtraction facts under the correct header card.
A math fact worksheet is also available with the same facts. This is a great follow-up, early finisher, or recording sheet to go with this center.
