I hope you had a fabulous Easter. I spent all day Saturday and Sunday with family and enjoying some fun time! And, I am scrambling today to cross things on my to-do list.
I am so thankful for this day off!
And, now we are OFFICIALLY on the countdown to summer break. No more days off.. which means I feel like I am squeezing everything into my first graders brain to get them ready for second grade.
Tomorrow we will start our frog unit. Since it will be a short week and I have too much to pack into four days- it will probably be a two week unit.
We will be doing lots of fun frog activites and we will also learn about amphibians, the life cycle of a frog and the difference between a frog and a toad.
These are the four main books we will be using the next two weeks. I have enough for the whole class.
We will also be using my frog centers that I have listed on TpT.
Don’t forget that the 12th is coming up and I will be posting my 12 on the 12th linky party. Come join! The 12th is on Thursday this week!
And I am giving away a magnetic clock set from Learning Resources that you would LOVE! Click here to enter!
Have a great week!!!
xoxo, kacey
