The Princess and the Pea is one of my favorite fairy tales- and I always start off by reading it first.
This year-we did class projects using The Princess and the Pea.
We wrote the author, illustrator, setting, and characters.
And I used this precious bed craft from Leslie Ann.
They turned out precious.
We glued everything onto a piece of poster board.
My first graders are required to do a fairy/folk tale book project in May so this was perfect practice and something we enjoyed doing together.
And… we finished it off by gluing a real pea at the bottom. {ok, so it’s really a bean.. but shhhh don’t tell!}
That's the cutest thing I've ever seen!!!
