Week 4 .. Day 20
And September is HERE!
August is not my favorite month so I am delighted to move on in to September.
Now, if it only started to feel like fall it would be pretty awesome.
Time is just a ticking.
The days are long but the weeks are short.
It seemed like Monday yesterday.
We just finished week 4 and things are looking better {and calmer!}.
We are still practicing rules, routines and procedures EVERY.SINGLE.DAY!
We had our first classroom birthday this week. This was the super easy treat I gave my kiddo. I did a blog post about this a few weeks ago. If you are interested you can jump over and read it and also the boy version of my birthday treats.
The little monkeys and the swirl pops both came from Oriental Trading.
Why YES, we are STILL doing some Pete activities. WHY NOT?! It's all good.
We did the labeling activity this week.

I think I have some of the best little artist in my room this year! I cannot wait to jump into a detailed directed drawing with them. They nailed these little cats with short a words.
Every year at this time we have a fundraiser and part of the incentive to sell more items our students can win the stuffed animal for a day. Our class was the lucky winner on Thursday for the big one eyed monster to spend a day with us! This one is actually small compared to previous years! Last year we had a wiener dog that was about 8 feet long and one year we had a frog that was 4 feet tall. This monster is not so bad.. and he kinda fits right in!

I LOVE your Pete the Cat activities! They are precious! Your kids are off to a great start. We don't start until this coming Wednesday... but I'll be jealous of you at the end of June when you are probably all done and I'm still sweating in the classroom! :) Thank you so much for doing this linky. I love it.
