I had the opportunity to go to a school supply store that was going out of business and shop their 50% off sale before it went open to the public. I honestly did not buy much but it was nice to pick up some goodies at a great price.
We mostly bought art room supplies for our art teacher. Gallons of paint, huge jars of glitter and TONS of construction paper! Fun stuff!
And, one of my favorite things EVER is finding good kid books at a used book store or thrift shop. I got this whole stack plus a few books for me for $14.00. The were all $.25-$1.00.
I am a kindle reader but I am heading to the beach Saturday so this is my stack. All of these either came from the used book store or handed down from my sister. Would love to know if you have read any of these. I am a fan of Liane Moriarty so I am looking forward to those. I also really like Elin Hilderbrand. I really thought I had read all of her books. But, this one does not sound familiar.
I mention this almost every four months when I get a check.. but WHY are you not using Ebates?
Here is a link to sign up if you want to sign up!
The breakdown: Every time you shop at a qualifying store you get a certain percentage back from those stores. That money stays in your account and every four months you can get it deposited into your paypal account or they will send you a check. The cash back is small. Most stores are around 5% back.. but it can add up!
Tomorrow starts a week at the beach. Eat, sleep, read and some "vitamin sea". I cannot wait!

We were liars is pretty good. Ending isn't what I thought it would be but it's a good beach read.
ReplyDeleteBig Little Lies is amazing. They're making a miniseries about it with Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman. I read it in only a few days!
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading We Were Liars. The style of writing took some getting use to because it was unique (but not in a bad way!) but I LOVED it! Great story!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the beach! It looks like you have a great selection of books to read.

Laughter and Consistency
I read What Alice Forgot during spring break. I'm curious to know what you think of it. I couldn't put it down, but I found it frustrating, too. What did you think?
ReplyDeleteHope the beach was nutritional and you got lots of vitamin SEA!
