Have you ever read Mac and Cheese by Sarah Weeks? These are seriously so cute. I am a {crazy} cat lady so any story about cats warms my heart. But, these books are perfect friendship books about two very different cats that are the best of friends. You should definitely check them out! {links below}.

We read the books and answered questions {free download below} this week. And, as an early finisher activity we watched a read aloud on You Tube.

{sorry this picture is blurry}
Our weekly centers included some of the math centers from my St. Patrick's Day Math Centers Unit. We are normally out of school for Spring Break on St. Patrick's Day so this year was a special treat.

Do you notice all the gold and green confetti a tricky little leprechaun left for us?!
Messy little devil...

This week was also the beginning of our testing window. We actually have two weeks of testing. Which is great that I don''t have to make my little ones test for long periods of time. I can break it up into two weeks. But, I seriously despise these long tests!

We did manage to break for some lucky leprechaun fun on Thursday.

And, just like that.. St. Patrick's Day was over and it's time to celebrate Easter! I cannot stand an empty bulletin board so when I took down St. Patrick's Day yesterday afternoon I HAD to come up with a quick bulletin board to cover the empty board until we can make something fun and cute for Easter decorations!

  1. Thank you for introducing me to "Mac and Cheese"! I'm addicted to children's books, so I'll have to pick one up.
