Five for Friday is a weekly teacher linky party where you post five random things from today or this past week on your blog. Then, you come back and link your blog post up at the bottom of this post in the linky tool. Grab the button above and link back to this post on your blog.
The countdown is ON! This was taken a few days ago because we are down to 9 {yes.. NINE!} days left. Crazy, right? Our last day with kids will be Thursday, May 14th.
I made this countdown a few years ago and it hangs in our main hallway.
One of our phonics skills this week was AR words- so we brainstormed a list of words and made these cute little sharks to go on top of our paper.
Our caterpillars have been growing like crazy this week. I am scared they are all going to be in their cocoons when we get back to school on Monday. Hopefully one or two will wait until Monday so we can see! It seems to happen on the weekend every year!
Our elementary art show was this week. This is just a few of the pictures that were on display. We have an amazing art teacher and art program at our school. These were winners of local and state contest.
If you are looking for some Mother’s Day ideas- you can hop over to Blog Hoppin and read a post of our favorite ideas. I also have a past blog post and a freebie Mom’s questionnaire in my store.
I hope your weekend is fabulous! xoxo, kacey

ReplyDeleteYou're 'AR' craft and activity would fit in perfectly with our Sea Life theme Kacey! I may have to incorporate that into next weeks lessons....
