Helllloooooo Spring Break!

Today starts our Spring Break and we have snow and ice. Fun stuff indeed! Regardless of the weather I will indeed enjoy my week off from school!

Between testing this week and snow days we managed to squeeze in some March fun. This is our bulletin board inside our classroom.

It was also our Spring Box Tops turn in week so we have been trimming and sorting Box Tops into groups of 50.

We did a long/short vowel sort this week on these gumball machines. We cut a lot in our room but some of my first grade friends have such a hard time cutting circles.Divider 5

We also practiced base words and suffixes on the board this week during small groups.

Enjoy your weekend! And, if it happens to be your Spring Break.. enjoy!

  6. I know I am so over this weather!! I made a graph that will be a freebie this weekend. My kiddos chose would they rather build a snowman (more snow) or a sandcastle (hurry warm weather)!!
