It’s Friday.. and let me just make sure that is my #1 item for Five for Friday. Why do short weeks always seem like the longest ones. Yikes.. this week crawled by! I am glad to see you Friday! You are BY FAR my most favorite day of the week!

I am really proud of my little first graders. Their reading skills have definitely improved and we are doing more harder  and more complex skills. It’s also hard to believe that our school year is 1/2 over. We only have about 70 days left.

Do you need something really yummy to cook this week? This is so good! Sorry to all my teacher friends doing Whole 30. This is DEFINITLY not included on that plan.. but so good. I cooked it for our Bunko group Tuesday night and have been enjoying the leftovers for lunch each day.

I put the chicken in the crockpot before school and let it cook/boil all day on low. It makes putting this together after school quick and easy.

I finished these Winter Math Sheets to be used with dry erase pockets this week. My first graders have been using them as early finisher activities all week and will continue all next week too! There are 44 sheets included in the pack- colored and black and white are both included too.

I also wrote a BLOG POST about the sheets with more info here!
