12 on the 12th {May}

Today is May 12th..

which means another month has gone by and it is time to document 12 random pictures of the 12th day..

Today was not the most exciting day. It is graduation and end of the year teacher gift time which means my stationery business is in top priorty this weekend.

So, today was mostly about Doodle Bugs Paper.. not Doodle Bugs Teaching!

4. A new notecard design I made for someone else.. but had to print for myself!
5. Gift certificates are top sellers right now
6. Graduation orders- lots of thank you notes are being printed
7. A fun set of Peace, Love Prayer calling/enclosure cards
8. End of the year teacher gift orders {these are notepads}
9. Mother's Day present wrapped
10. A fun unscramble the sentence activity planned for my students next week.
11. Always fun to open the mailbox and get stationery I sold mailed back to me as a thank you note.
12. A little lunch break reading.

9. I made a trip to our accountant's office this afternoon to pick up our taxes.

12 on the 12th {March}

Today is March 12th.. which means 12 random pictures from today.

I am on Spring Break this month so my 12 pictures are not a "typical" day for me. But, here they are!

1. Wake up time was around 7:00. Which is pretty good considering I didn't have to go to school today.. AND with the Daylight Savings Time change yesterday. So honestly my body felt like it was 6:00.

2. Breakfast of Champions- Frosted Flakes. I normally eat a Special K breakfast bar at school before the kids come into the room so this was a change.

3. I made a trip to the post office to drop off orders.

4. Put a roast in the crockpot for tonight.

5.Spent some fun time with my girl.. Peanut.

6. Moved this book from the kitchen to the living room but have yet to start it. I consider myself a "reader" but hardly ever read anymore.

7. Finished up my Easter Math Centers.

8. Laminated my Easter Math Centers.

9. Started cutting my Easter Math Centers.

10. Made a set of thank you cards for our local animal shelter and delivered them.

11. Spent some fun time with our foster child from the animal shelter.. Poochie {Who is going to have puppies... anyday now!}

12. Finished up and listed some Days of the Week Centers on TpT.

12 for 12 {February}

Here are 12 random things from today…

See last months 12 for 12 here.

{1} I spent a little while planning for this week.. we will be finishing up Valentine’s Day on Tuesday then spend the rest of the week working on Dental Health. We are also reviewing all long vowel sounds.

{2} I laminated two new units this afternoon.. my Dental Health mini unit and also a frog unit {coming soon}.

{3} I started working on a new mini unit- Cookie’s Week.. We read this book back at the beginning of school. During our Pete the Cat week- but we will be doing this in small groups maybe next week.. or soon!

{4} I loaded my Dental Health mini unit on Teachers Pay Teachers for FREE! Check it out HERE. I also added a sweet little bird matching activity. {tweet, tweet!}

{5} I spent a lot of time cutting out laminated materials today! I cut over that big wooden salad bowl so all of my scraps go into it. The bowl was a wedding present. I have never used it as a salad bowl BUT I use it almost daily when I cut things. So, it has been a very useful gift!! HA!

{6} I wrapped a baby gift and a Valentine gift. Not really wrapped.. just put them into some cute bags with tissue.

{7} I also got a Valentine card ready to mail. Kinda late.. and I doubt it makes it before Tuesday. But, it’s the thought, right?!!?!

{8} I went to the grocery and my receipt is almost 2 feet long. Whew- it was a big trip!

{9} I finished up a few last minute stationery orders.

{10} I bagged up my orders so they can be dropped off at the post office in the morning.

{11} I realized after looking back at last months 12 for 12 that I had on the same pj pants.

{12} … and as soon as possible- I am crawling into bed with the newest People magazine that came in the mail yesterday! I always feel cheated when a Sunday night comes around and I did not get a nap. It’s never fun to start a week off as tired as you did when it ended.

 

I really wanted to look into making this a linky party. But, I never got around to looking into that this past month. {Add it to the list of things that I never get around too…sigh!} If anyone has any “helpful hints” or just a “plain-ole this is how you do”suggestions I would love to know! I need a speedy tutorial!

12 for 12 {January}

A blogging friend of mine always does 12 pictures to document the 12th day of each month! I have always really liked looking at her 12th day posts- so I thought I would start.

So, here are 12 random pictures I took today…

{1} I had a few extra minutes this morning before I left and I sat down and cut some of my Valentine unit. I am really excited about all the pink and red! I love those colors mixed together.

{2} I left for work at 7:21. I should also mentioned that it is pretty awesome that I got to work at 7:25. Anybody else have a quick commute?

{3} Today’s calendar time .. January 12th. Really?

{4} Today’s chart paper work- we do this daily. It is basically a review or an intro to skills we are working on. Kind of like a daily message.. but we don’t always have the traditional “message”. I use to do a letter to my class each day.. but I got bored writing it. Now, I do this and mix everything up. It works for me…

{5} We are collecting money for the local dog shelter. We have raised $17.49 so far. Our goal was to bring enough “change” to at least buy one bag of dog food.

{6} One of my centers this week is a magazine search.. this is the quickest center I can throw together and still be considered the.best.teacher.in.the.world. They love it!

{7} A little pattern block time!

{8} My planner reminds me I have a birthday next week.. don’t worry.. I am not the one that has be reminded… I remind every one else! HA! I am taking a 1/2 day off to celebrate!

{9} The first two things that happen when I get home.. pj bottoms and a big glass of cold, ice tea!

{10} Newsletter time.. Every Thursday I type my weekly newsletter to send home on Fridays. I always type my newsletter on my office computer.

{11} I worked on few stationery orders this afternoon too.

{12} And now.. I am enjoying a few quiet minutes of computer time. This time- in”my chair” on my laptop. I am working on some valentine goodies. Unless we get snow soon.. I am ready to move on from snowmen!

Nothing too exciting happened today! It was COLD!
