When we do small groups each day.. I always have a few extra minutes that need to be filled with independent activities for some of my early finishers. And, I need something QUICK {like 5 minutes quick} that are easy to prep that will last for several days or even a few weeks.
So, I made this set of Dry Erase Math Printables. It includes 44 sets of sheets that includes telling time, counting, math facts and missing numbers. It is a great review and extra practice for my first graders.
I had two sets of these exact dry erase pockets not being used so they worked out perfect.
I slipped 1/2 of the sheets into the dry erase pockets. I saved the other half of sheets for a second round next week. I also slipped a class list into the back of each pocket. My students mark their name off the class list when they complete a sheet. This tells me {and them!} which ones they have done!
These little mini square whiteboard erasers work so perfect. I just keep a box of markers and erasers next to the stack of pocket sheets and they grab everything they need at once. And, clean up is quick and easy too!
There are 44 sheets in the pack. Colored and black and white are both included. I printed the color sheets. But, the black and white would also look good printed on colored paper.

ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful idea! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteAmazon has the best deals. I miss it. (Australia's Amazon needs to step up their game, it's only books.)
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Such a fan of those pockets and reusable sheets! :)

Thanks for the links to the pockets. I love that idea of using those instead of making a million copies.
