Back to School

This is my last weekend before school starts- and my brain is in overload. My to do list is getting longer ..even though I am marking so much off. One thing I am working on is getting activities ready for the first couple of weeks. I wanted to share a few of my resources that I will be using…

abcorderpencils

My ABC order unit is great to use at the beginning of the year. It starts off with letters {not words} and has centers and practice sheets for students to work on putting letters in order.

backtoschoolbooks

I am excited about these back to school math books. Mine are copied and put together and ready to be used! There are 2 versions in this unit. I plan to use the first one as a whole-group review the first few days. Then the second one as independent morning work or homework.

This Back to School Pocket Chart Activities Unit is one of my best sellers. These stayed in my “pocket chart basket” for a long time last year and my kids loved them. They are great for reinforcing beginning of the year skills.

catscolorwords

We all love that famous blue cat right? This Cats and Color Words unit goes perfect with him and teaching color words. I spend a ton of time working on color words the first two weeks of school and I used these a lot last year!

colorwords1

More color words!! This Color Word unit is one of my very favorites! It has center activities, pocket chart activities, review sheets & more!

ksheets1

Do you need just basic review sheets for your first week? These Math Review Sheets are perfect! It includes numbers 0-20 and color words and number words. There are also harder versions in my store too for the rest of the year.

chicka1

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is always a favorite- and I use these centers at the beginning of the year. They are great review for kindergarten skills and fits in perfect with everything we are working on the first few weeks of school.
