So long little first graders…

Tomorrow is our last day of school this year!

I can not believe that another year has gone by. This was my 12th year to teach.. and I do believe it went by quicker than any other year. I feel like we just started!

As an end of the year gift I am giving my students a framed picture of our class from a few weeks ago.. I got them printed in a 5x7 size and bought frames.

004

I wrapped them in simple brown paper sacks and printed a label for each one.

Nothing fancy.. but I always give my students some kind of picture to keep as a gift. I have done little albums but I hate to admit that I have slacked on my picture taking this year…

I really like this group picture so I hope they will keep it and remember their first grade year!

  2. I love it. That picture looks too cute. I cannot believe this year has gone by so quickly. We still have 22 more days at my school and I am dying. I still have much to do... Yikes!!! Congratulations an completing another successful year. Have a fantastic summer!!! I hope you will still post some fantastic ideas throughout the summer... after you take time to relax, of course!

  3. Adorable! Where do you get the frames? I did this for my class my first year of teaching (it was a picture of me and the individual child vs. a picture of the whole class) and I found frames in the $1 spot at Target! Score. But I have 26 babies this year, so we may have to find something different, ha!
