Tomorrow is our last day of school this year!
I can not believe that another year has gone by. This was my 12th year to teach.. and I do believe it went by quicker than any other year. I feel like we just started!
As an end of the year gift I am giving my students a framed picture of our class from a few weeks ago.. I got them printed in a 5x7 size and bought frames.
I wrapped them in simple brown paper sacks and printed a label for each one.
Nothing fancy.. but I always give my students some kind of picture to keep as a gift. I have done little albums but I hate to admit that I have slacked on my picture taking this year…
I really like this group picture so I hope they will keep it and remember their first grade year!

I love it. That picture looks too cute. I cannot believe this year has gone by so quickly. We still have 22 more days at my school and I am dying. I still have much to do... Yikes!!! Congratulations an completing another successful year. Have a fantastic summer!!! I hope you will still post some fantastic ideas throughout the summer... after you take time to relax, of course!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Supe cute keepsake.

Adorable! Where do you get the frames? I did this for my class my first year of teaching (it was a picture of me and the individual child vs. a picture of the whole class) and I found frames in the $1 spot at Target! Score. But I have 26 babies this year, so we may have to find something different, ha!
ReplyDeleteCute idea Kacey! You should link this up to my "End of the Year Gift" linky party.
