We did these quick snowmen directed drawings this week. They are tall and skinny and look pretty festive on our classroom bulletin board. It has been really cold in Mississippi the last few weeks.. but sadly NO snow! Boo!

One of my firsties had a birthday this week and his mom surprised us with a king cake celebration. King cake with strawberry cream cheese filling.. it was yummy!

Last week I posted about my Doodle Bugs monthly stationery club and a few of my teacher friends signed up. The first month of goodies shipped out this week. I am so excited about this little bit of love going out each month. Everybody loves good mail… right?!?

We continued working on calendar skills this week. We used the questions from this freebie in my store.

And then… THIS HAPPENED! I know this seems like an easy fix. I deleted pictures, call logs, videos, text messages, unused apps .. and STILL did not free up any space. Then, all my apps stopped working. Then, my camera stopped working! And my text will say they are not delivered but some of them go through. What in the world?!

My trusty little 4s that I have had since 2011 has bit the bullet. Basically, all I can do is make a phone call. And, with the way things are going the calls will probably stop today! So, phone shopping is on my weekend to do list. Do I want the BIG 6 or just a 5. The 6 (not the plus) seems REALLY big! What do you think??

Have a great weekend! Link up your Five for Friday below!

  1. That king cake looks unbelievable delicious!! I've been eyeing your stationary club as I'm trying to get better with sending notes. I'm so sorry your phone is misbehaving. Mine was fine until the latest update - ugh. Now my social media refuses to load, which is very sad but freeing up a lot of time! Thanks for the weekly linky :) Jen

  2. YIKES!!! I would flip out about the phone :( My husband recently got the 6+ and although it is large, it makes looking at things online so much better. Good luck with shopping this weekend!

  3. I love the snowman drawings! I've pinned it and hope to do them with my class soon. Sorry to hear that your phone died. You will love the 6 (my husband loves his). I've still got the 5s and I'm more than happy with that.

  4. I would be having a panic attack if my phone did that! We've been having internet issues in our house this past week so I am thankful that my iPhone can function as a wireless hotspot. AMAZING and such a lifesaver!

  5. The snowmen are so cute. I've been getting that message a lot on my phone as well. I just learned that you sometimes need to delete an app and reload it to get rid of all the data that's being stored. Good luck.

  6. Ugh, I hate phone troubles. I frequently get that message as well. I've deleted a few Apps that I rarely use to free up some space. Anyway, thanks for hosting and I absolutely love how the students' snowmen turned out! :)

  8. LOVE my 6 Plus!!! So awesome if you have lots of photos and take videos! Plus with my 40-something vision, I don't need glasses to read my e-mail now :)

  9. Oh no! I was freaked out when everything on my iPhone turned Chinese. I don't know any Chinese. Thank goodness for the Apple Support Team at the Apple Store. They ended up replacing my iPhone. I have not updated to a 6 yet.

  10. We just had to get new phones too! The power button, you know, the one on top, stopped working on BOTH my husband's phone and my phone!! We went with the 5s because it was cheaper, and I don't want to carry a tablet in my purse. ;)

  12. I LOVE my iPhone 6. It did take a bit to get used to it being a bit bigger, but I love it. You can do this cool talking instead of texting...it is like you are on the phone with someone, but it is a text. :)

  14. Those snowmen are absolutely adorable! I'm sorry that your phone crashed on you! I have the 5 and I love it, but I'm also not sure about the size of the 6 yet - seems a bit big to me. Good luck in making your decision!

  16. Hey Ashley,

A lot of people get templates custom made. For example, some people use Designs by Tenille. I use wordpress and I customized my wordpress template. There are a lot of options!

  17. Love the snowmen. Get the SIX. I have it and LOVE it. It is NOT too big. Most other non-Apple phones are the same size and there is a reason Apple went bigger. Kathleen

  21. Ok, so this may be a stupid question. What is a king cake? Sounds delish but was just curious. Sorry about your phone issues I have the photo space issue a lot...lol. I have the 5 and hubby just got the 6 (not plus). Get the 6, I love his and am now secretly hoping mine will die so I can justify getting it for myself. Thanks for hosting this fantastic linky!
