Thanks to Jen at Hello Literacy for making these fun number buttons! She was so sweet to email and share them with me and ALL OF YOU! You can grab your set of numbers here!
These little props went to school with me on Wednesday.. do you know what book we were reading?
A few years back I made this bulletin board with my first graders.
It is one of my favorite books- even if the characters are mice and a snake. Two of my least favorite things in the world!!!
October kicks off the holiday season with my Doodle Bugs Paper business… and I have spent a few hours this week getting a few things stocked up and ready to go. It is really hard to believe that next week is October … and Christmas will be here soon! Bring on the holidays!
I spent a little time late yesterday afternoon getting some planning done.. outside. It’s not exactly fall weather here in MS .. but it has cooled down in the middle 80’s in the late afternoons. So, I have been enjoying it this week. I really wanted to get all my planning and prep work done for next week before the weekend. But… I KNOW I will still bring home a load of work. I just hope the little bit of extra planning I did during the week will allow for a Sunday afternoon nap {please!!}.
We have spent a lot of time the last two weeks working with a friend/partner… And, I really think the kinks are FINALLY worked out and they are learning to share, take turns and help each other. My class this year just simply… ROCKS!
Happy Weekend Y’all!
