First week down.. and thankful for the weekend! My first week with my new batch of little ones was a big success and my body is tired! I cannot wait to sleep in a little longer in the morning!
Feel free to link up your Five for Friday post below. All you have to do is blog about five random things from today or this week and link up your blog post below. Here are my five..
{1} I am so very thankful for a casual school environment where it is fine for me to wear my shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes. It was a blessing today when I barely crawled to school this morning. My legs and feet are feeling the results of being back in school full time. And, let’s don’t forget how stinkin’ hot it is in Mississippi in August. Heat index every afternoon of 105-110 will make you melt.. trust me!
{2} This week was filled with a lot of kindergarten review skills and getting into a routine. They did great and we are slowly getting a routine set up.
{3} We had a great first week back.. and I worked my little first graders like busy bees! We made these cute bees to hang in our classroom. I am working on a first week pack that includes the activities that we did this week.. and REALLY hope to have it finished in the next day or too. The patterns to make this bee are included in the pack.
{4} I did finish my handwriting practice book this week and finally got it listed in my store. It features a page for each letter plus a few extra pages that include things like name practice, numbers, color words, etc.. and there are 8 fun “Write and Color” practice pages where students practice writing the sentence and then color the picture to go along with the sentence. You can click HERE to see it.
{5} … and number five! Let’s have a little BACK TO SCHOOL SALE shall we?? Teachers Pay Teachers is hosting a Back to School Sale Sunday and Monday.. My whole store will be 20% off and if you enter coupon code BTS13 you can get an additional 10% off.. start looking around NOW to find everything you just NEED {or want!}
Click the button above to jump over to my store!
ps… you know you can leave feedback for past purchases and earn credits to buy more don’t you??.. go leave your feedback before Sunday !

My Crazy Life
Your bees are precious! What part of Mississippi are you from? I grew up in South Mississippi, but I have a lot of family all over the state.
