I skipped out on posting my "five" things last week.. because I left bright and early last Friday for a girl's weekend with some of the most amazing teacher/blogging friends. We flew or drove in from all across the country to eat, shop, eat, shop.. and participate in the Neon Dash last weekend in San Antonio.

Back Row: AlishaElizabeth, Stephanie, Dee Dee, Me
Front Row: Gladys, Hope, Crystal, Deanna, Cara, Reagan, Amy

I also got the opportunity to meet April and Farley.

One of our phonics skills this week has been "th" so we made these fun TOOTH FAIRIES! It's a free download from TpT from Angie Neal. They turned out really cute! LOVE THEM!

I mentioned TWO weeks ago that we were studying dinosaurs and I was updating my Dino Unit. I really, really promise I am. We are STILL working on some of it. I promise I will get around to finishing it up .. soon!

One of the new activities I am adding to my Dinosaur Unit is this super easy {but fun!} directed drawing. We finished ours up this week.

We welcomed April this past Tuesday! Can you believe it? We have 28 days of school left. WHAT?!? Is it too early to start a countdown?? We have a ton to squeeze into these last 28 days! This April printable is from my Months of the Year Unit.

This Five for Friday is lucky to be here.. I bought a new computer last weekend.. and well, let's say I feel lost as I could possibly be. Windows 8 is giving me a run for my money.. WOW! It's different! I did go with version 8.1 which supposedly has all the kinks worked out. But, it takes me forever to figure something out AND then remember how to do it next time! It only has to get better with time.. right??!

I have been working this week on a new set of math centers. I have been laminating and cutting and getting ready to use them soon. I hope to have them finished and listed in my store this weekend. I need to proof them one last time!

It is "Dino Week" in our class.. but I hate to admit that this week has had so much other stuff happening that I am waaay behind. So, Dinos will continue into next week. The good news is that I am updating my Dino Unit as I use it and have added tons to it. I will be revising it soon too! If you have already purchased it then you can re-download it and get all the new and improved stuff for free!

Our 3rd Nine Weeks report cards went out this week.. This year is flying by. We are officially in the last quarter of the year. We have about 40 days left. This seems impossible. The days seem long but the weeks are flying by.

Two of our pocket chart activities this week are the Pirate Math Facts and Counting by 2's Fish

Both of these were a big hit with my little ones.

... Happy Spring!
The weather has been fabulous the last few days. I hope it is here to stay. {Boo.. you nasty, yucky, winter days!}

I finished up my Spring Math Sheets this week and have them available in my store. I will definitely be putting these to use in the next month or so.. an Easter set is coming soon.

My parents went out of town for a couple of days and we did a little dog-sitting for them. This is Buck hanging out with me while I work .. and he is not impressed with the ladybugs either...

They have SERIOUSLY invaded my office. It warmed up and BAM they came from no where.. At least they are ladybugs, right?!?! Could be so worse? But, how do you get rid of them?

Do we need to discuss this? I should be ashamed. I REALLY should be ashamed that I stopped playing for at least 2 months and I started again. Level 400.. games make your brain work and make you smarter, right!?

I made a trip to my classroom this afternoon {it's our Spring Break week} and pulled out a few dinosaur things to get ready for dino week. I am super excited! I ♥ Dinos!

And, I also made a quick stop by our local public library to check out some books that I don't have to add to the reading table next week.

My Spring Break is over and I am officially down to just a weekend.. boo! But, it has been a good week. It's amazing how much you can get done with all the extra time when you aren't teaching all day!

I would love for you to link up your Five for Friday post below. Happy Weekend Teacher Friends!
