Today is my birthday! 

It's Friday.. and Monday is a holiday!

 I think it's called for a celebration. 

Or at least a a reason to eat cake. 

Of course, if you are a member of my family you KNOW you don't really have to have a reason to eat birthday cake!

We finished up our penguin centers this week. They were a success. 

Our phonics skill this week was long i.. so we have been chugging through my long i/silent e unit.
