We read and did some story activities with Mrs. Wishy Washy this week. This character flip book was super simple but they loved it. We did these during our library time. So, my kids were in and out of and needed something they could put down and pick back up while we checked out books.
Here is a FREE DOWNLOAD if you are interested in using it with your students.
We also read Harry the Dirty Dog this week. Which is one of my favorite, favorite, FAVORITE stories of all time. I am just a sucker for a cute dog book!
There are actually lots of different Harry books on Amazon.
Sorry, I don't have the patterns to share for our Harry craft. This was our first craft project
We also watched these two Youtube videos of Harry!
It's Homecoming Week at our school. Which means .. CRAZY dress up days!
Whew.. pajamas, camouflauge, color war, disney day.... it all wears me out!
And since it was Homecoming Week..
it was the PERFECT time to use my new football centers and printables.
There are lots of centers with recording sheets included.
And several sets of pocket chart cards.
The pocket chart cards have follow up printables if you need them.
And these number word cards fit perfect in a pocket chart but all my charts were being used so she was just matching them on our mat.
And we did these cut and paste printables as morning work this week. They are all included in the Football unit as well.
These sentences are part of my short vowels pack and they are perfect for small reading group time.
The short u ones are prepped for next week.
