Do you see that 0? Let me tell you .. I don’t do zeros! This is crazy! Today is supposed to be above freezing so I feel like I might survive. If it is going to feel 0 degrees.. at least let is snow!
It was all about long a / silent e this week. We read Froggy Bakes A Cake- which I started a book companion for last year. I really hope to finish it this year!
We started using my Silent E bundle this week too.
I finished up these 2015 Calendar Questions this week. I had these in my plans on Tuesday. I introduced these and we used in small groups at my table. I saved the actual cards to use as an independent follow up activity next week.
These are a free download in my TpT store.
There is only one person who I will travel to go see play sports – my niece Carly. I snuck out of school a little early on Monday to make one of her last basketball games this season.
I announced a fun adventure to my stationery business this week. A six month Stationery Club. If you are interested I have a few spots open- here is the link to read more or purchase. Who doesn’t love receiving a little fun “snail mail”?

Happy Friday! I would love for you to post your Five for Friday post on your blog and link up below!
I don't do zero either, yet somehow... it's even BELOW zero. What is that about?! You and your niece look like TWINS! So sweet! Thank you for this linky! Happy New Year!

Well, there are things both worse and better about zero– worse is when the number starts going up, but there is a minus sign in front of it! And better is when you get a stay home day because of it! Thanks for the linky, Kacey. Kathleen Kidpeople Classroom
ReplyDeleteBrrrr!!! I'm glad you didn't turn into a popsicle! We're starting a-e next week...thanks for the great ideas!
ReplyDeleteI love your calendar question cards! I have some third graders who could still benefit from those materials. We had one day of below zero temps. We even had a two hour delay. Brrrr. Thanks again for hosting this linky!

I don't do 0s either. Funny one of my fives was a picture of my 1 degree weather before linking up and checking yours out. Ha! And my week was filled with basketball. I have a son who plays on Tues/Fri and a daughter plays Mon/Thur…exhausting, but so fun to cheer them on! I'm sure your niece appreciated you being there!
