A good friend of mines comes in each week and teaches a Bible class to my first graders. I try and reteach the lesson through the week as a reinforcement. She taught the “Fruit of the Spirit” this past Monday so all week we have been talking and doing activities to go along with her lesson. I have been working on a little mini-unit to go in my store for anyone else that has the opportunity to teach the fruit of the spirit.
If you have been following my blog or been a Five for Friday reader for anytime.. you have heard me praise Ebates. And, it was payday this week. Of course, I get a commission if you sign up under my referral link.. but WHY are you not using it?!?! If you shop online at places like Old Navy, Amazon, Kohls,Barnes and Nobles, LAnds End.. and thousands of other sites… you are missing cash back on every purchase.
The holiday season is in full swing with my Doodle Bugs Paper business. I have had two holiday shows this week and any extra time that I’ve had has been devoted to getting products ready or processing orders. It is so hard for me to believe that Christmas is coming so soon!
I got the news on Thursday that was getting a new student.. so I started gathering up “stuff”. I keep finding or thinking about things I need. The pile is getting bigger and bigger as we wait for the “new kid”. You would think my students are waiting for Santa to show up.. HA!
Have a great weekend! I am tickled to death for the weekend to be here! Yippie!
I LOVE your fruit of the spirit cards! I know what you mean, too, about getting a new student. I got my kids so excited for our new girl last year- and she never came. So we sort of still talked about her all year. "Well, McKenna didn't finish her paper!" :) Thanks so much for always hosting this linky. I love it.

The kindness and interest that our entire school (or classrooms) take to getting a new student is pretty cool. We've had quite a bit this year. Although the transition can tough seeing the students help the new kid out is pretty cool.
